You can win Future Music tickets with Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project

Guess what… Smirnoff is giving you the chance to win one of two tickets to Future Music Festival in Perth (event info), see the end of the article for how to enter.

The makers of Smirnoff vodka are bringing LA LA land to Future Music Festival as part of the Nightlife Exchange Project, hosting popular DJ crew, Dim Mak, on their very own stage. Last year, Smirnoff swapped the best elements of global nightlife as part of the Nightlife Exchange Project, which saw 14 countries pack up their local nightlife in a crate and exchange it with that of another to provide a one-of-a-kind unforgettable event experience.

Now Smirnoff is bringing all the glitz and glamour of LA nightlife to Future Music Festival in a partnership with Dim Mak, the world’s hottest label and party brand. Mash-up king and founder of Dim Mak Steve Aoki will deliver the hottest electro sounds alongside Don Diablo, Sound of Stereo, The Subs and TAI. Famous party snapper Mark the Cobra Snake will also be on hand to capture all the action.

My Past Future..

FUTURE MUSIC FESTIVAL…. !!!

The hype surrounding this festival was massive ! I think it went down for me as the best all-round festival line up easily in the last 3-4 years and many others would definitely agree with me on this. What I liked about it best is that everyone had their own story to make out of it.

The “trance-heads” would have been planted to the melodies of Above & Beyond, Jaytech & Matt Zo @ the ANJUNABEATS stage while some were going hard with the sounds of Dubfire & Sven Vath in THE LIKES OF YOU tent and many others were probably floating around the place. In the end Mellen Events did great to cater for all types of music lovers !

On the day itself, i thought the weather did many of us a great favour, as some of us were trying to prepare for the initial forecast of 41 degrees! Don’t get me wrong, everyone sweated their asses off.

The first on my list was Dubfire, I got stuck in the line so I didn’t get to watch his opening but DID HE PLAY A SET ! Peeps who

When: 28 February 2010

Cost/Ticket details: price TBA, available from ticketmaster, inthemix, regular ticket outlets, presale from 22 October.

Well it’s back again too. Looks like summer is shaping up to be pretty exciting again. Future music sees The Prodigy, Franz Ferdinand, Sven Vath, Boys Noize, Empire of The Sun and David Guetta hit Perth’s Ascot Racecourse on the Labour Day long weekend 2010. I think tickets will disappear for this, The Prodigy haven’t been here for a couple of years and are an electronic music institution. This first announcement also has heavy weights from numerous genres, so probably going to have something for everyone. Full line-up after the jump…
