This is the last dj mix from a local artist that I will place on Perthquake as of next Friday Audageous will take the reins! The final post is dedicated to Work Experience Djs. Who are they you ask? Well, one half runs Heads Will Roll (here) a ‘current-affairs’ blog pointing out some of the finer aspects of youth culture. The other is internet illiterate (didn’t know what Perthquake was…) and enjoys awkward conversations. How did such a duo come together? Work Experience Djs – Wishing It Was Summer Mix

How long have you been djing/producing?

We started messing about under the Work Experience DJs name sometime in 2008.

They’re playing tomorrow night at the Obnoxious Owl party (event info here) and they’re rather good at what they do. One half is Alex Darkly (producer and creator of Heads Will Roll) who is missing from the picture and the the other half is Perrin (expert at freaking people out and technology phobic). They’ve put together a super short mix of tracks they like, and is a good indication of the kind of stuff they play. The mix includes Fake Blood – I think i like it, Boys Noize – Jeffer (Modeselektor remix), Mr Oizo – Lambs Anger/Jo (Fakesch Remix), Vitalic – See the Sea (Blue). Catch them tomorrow night!
